Waterproofing & Substrate Preparation (for tile, paint, and exterior coatings)
Full-cycle prep that prevents leaks, peeling, and failures: on-site substrate assessment (moisture readings, pull-off strength where applicable), mechanical prep (grinding/scarifying, dust extraction), and correct primers matched to the base (concrete, screed, gypsum, masonry, ferrous/non-ferrous metal). We form proper falls to drains, integrate shower pans and balcony outlets, and install elastic waterproofing systems: brush/roller-applied liquid membranes for bathrooms and showers, reinforced liquid or sheet membranes for terraces/balconies, vapor control in wet zones, and sealed penetrations with collars, tapes, and PU/MS sealants. Self-leveling underlayments and bonded screeds bring planes true for large-format tile; we add movement joints, mesh/fiber reinforcement where needed, and verify heights for finish tolerances. Quality control includes flood testing of wet areas, documented moisture/strength readings, and a handover pack with product data sheets and curing windows—so the next layers (thinset/adhesive, grout, primers, paints) bond correctly and last.
